Thinking Is Fun is a company with an oxymoronic goal. We try to provide fun, while making you think. Actually, we don't think it is all that oxymoronic, but saying the word oxymoronic makes us laugh. But, we digress, and if you are reading this, chances are you don't mind thinking every now and again, and you likely figured out our obvious goal before even reading this page. So who are we, and why are we making you think?
The we part is simple, and also a bit of a misnomer. 'We', is mostly me, Peter. Just a regular guy who had an idea, that grew into a passion, which became an obsession. I say mostly me, in that I do the work to keep this site running, however I wouldn't get anywhere without the support of my wife and family.
Note, I don't normally wear Big Bright Yellow hats. But for special golf tournaments, I try to play the part. The cigar, while actually being a real Cuban, was used only as a prop. I now apologize for offending all my Big Bright Yellow hat wearing, cigar smoking visitors.
Ah, this part is a bit more complex, and came about due to many different reasons.
For now, there are two distinct groupings of activities available:
Games - These are downloadable games which you install on your computer. They have been created by other companies, but selected by me as they fit in with the views I have for this site. They are all free to download, play and try out. If you decide they'd provide a good challenge and are fun for you, the complete version may be purchased. If you decide the game is not for you, that is fine too. You can try another for free, or play any of the free online puzzles.
Puzzles - These are free, simple and web-playable. They have been created and written by me.

I've written enough. Stop reading. Start playing. Though, if you have any questions, comments, feedback or snide remarks, I'd love to hear from you.
Sincerely,
Peter

If you're wondering, the "Vote For Pedro" t-shirt originated in the movie Napoleon Dynamite (TM & © 2005 Fox and Paramount). My sister got me the shirt. I had to watch the movie so I could truly become one with the t-shirt. I realize, sadly, that I'm a generation too old for the movie, 'cause I didn't get it, and couldn't relate. But I like the shirt.
Want to give your brain a workout, without even realizing it? No, not by studying, doing homework, or reading a dry textbook. Do it the fun way - play a video game. Try one of the downloadable puzzle games at Thinking Is Fun. Lots of variety, lots of fun and lots of headscratching.
