Even if you're not having a bad day, a puzzle a day will help keep the, um, rust away. Brain rust is a serious issue. It is probably also a made up issue, as I am not a neurosurgeon. And while I won't go so far as to say that doing a puzzle a day will make you smarter, I will say that I believe doing a puzzle a day won't make you any stupider. That is not to imply that I think a) you're currently stupid, or b) that stupider is a Proper word. It simply means that I think you should do a puzzle.
Why? Because they're free, fun and fast to start. Play online, play often.
And if 4 minutes out of your day is easy to spare, why not shoot for 18 minutes and 34 seconds a day? A nice, quiet 18 minute and 34 second gap never brought harm to anyone. Did it?
