Sudoku is a logic based number placement puzzle. Sodoku is apparently an infectious disease transmitted by animals. So it is likely best to not get the two confused.
In Sudoku, you are presented with a 9x9 grid of cells. This larger grid is sub divided further into nine 3x3 'sub-grids'. Several cells will contain a digit from 1 to 9, while most of the cells will be blank. Your goal is to fill in the blank cells with a digit from 1 to 9 such that each column, each row and each of the nine 3x3 sub-grids contain the digits 1 thru 9 ONLY ONCE.
